Nick Holton will give a talk on Hypertrans – Transient Leaf Expression technology at this event taking place in Manchester over 18-20th September.
“Establishing International Partnerships in Industrial Biotechnology and Bioenergy – Improved glycoform-based biopharmaceutical production in plants”.
Plants have been used to produce a new vaccine against poliovirus in what is hoped to be a major step towards global eradication of the disease.

Two apprentices joined LES on 29th August and will be working at Lab Technicians. They will both gain a qualification through West Suffolk College who the apprenticeships are through. Both Karen Annison and Joe Ball will work full-time at LES and will attend West Suffolk College on a day release once a week starting this September.
Joe and Karen have a strong interest in science and have left very different jobs to join us!
